How puppy reservations, deposits and cancellations work at Teacup Empire.
How a reservation works
A puppy is reserved once a deposit toward the total adoption fee is received. This holds the puppy for you while remaining documentation and travel preparation are completed.
Deposit terms
Deposit amount, remaining balance, due dates and applicable cancellation terms are confirmed in writing with you at the time of reservation, specific to the individual puppy and destination.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a reservation, contact us as soon as possible. Whether a deposit is refundable, partially refundable, or applied toward a future puppy depends on timing and the terms confirmed at reservation — this is always communicated clearly in advance, never assumed.
If we cannot fulfill a reservation
In the rare case a reserved puppy cannot be delivered (for example, due to a health or documentation issue identified during preparation), we will offer a full refund of the deposit or the option to reserve a comparable available puppy.
